The thing that drive me is that a lot of the cuisine and tips from my mom’s generation is dying when this generation goes. The tastes and smells that we grew up with, we no longer find in our homes today. Yet we yearn for these memories and when we want to replicate these meals we lack the know-how. So my passion is harnessing all that I can from my moms generation and passing it on to future generations.
I believe that food is to be enjoyed, valued and respected for health and nutritional properties. When I look at our South African Indian food and how we make it, the spices that we use bring so many healing properties to our bodies. For centuries our cooking has been vegetarian and vegan friendly. In the ever growing vegan market today, you can be rest assured that we cater for your health needs.
